A few months ago I thought I was safe. Now look at me running through the forest from my own creation. My name is Cory I was the only female scientist working at a company called, "Transforming Beauty." I was in charge of a new project called The Black Suit.

   I was at work in my lab coat studying our progress from the observation room that was separated by a one-way glass mirror. I had my black hair in a braid going down to my shoulder I was 21 and to most guys I walked by they thought I was the hot body not so smart brain but that was a mistake. I got both by some chance. We were running tests on a new product we called the black suit for the simple fact it molded the wearers body to by more beautiful. We started off with a simple microscope slide of the suit to see its reaction to contact, what we saw was unlike anything ever imagined. The second the test subject came within a foot of the slide the suit leaped onto their skin and did like we predicted only it did the opposite of making beauty the subject turned into a real live black panther.

   We should have stopped after seeing the subject tear one of the scientists that was inside to shreds,  but we didn't. The next test we made the product into a glove and we brought in another willing person this time it was a guy looking for a quick buck. We watched as he slipped on the glove with easy. We expected it to be like before but with the larger the sample the worst it was. This time the subject turned into some form of human snake. He had his arms only problem with calling them arms now were they were free thinking and free moving snakes, where his hands were now snake heads. And the result from that was far worst than the panther this one ate three scientist one for each head. But we moved on as planned.

   "Man this seems like a failure of an idea if you ask me." I said walking with my buddy Jimmy. We were the same age and height and we had been friends since middle school.

   "I hear you. Only problem with quitting now is the guys upstairs already made a sphere of the gunk." he informed me as I hopped in my Dodge Charger.

   "Well guess we got room for mistakes. Later Jimmy let me know if something happens ok." I told him he nodded. I raced home to relax in my best known way: a hot bath. I was in the bath for well around thirty minutes before I got a call and ended up having to get out to take it. I answered the phone in around the third ring. "Hello?" I answered as I held the phone to my ear.

   "Cory!? Oh thank goodness! Quick you need to get down here ASAP. I don't know how much longer we can keep this thing under…"  Was all Jimmy said before the line went dead. I dawned my lab coat and my favorite orange blouse with blue skirt and started my car and drove off towards the lab. When I got there I wasn't prepared for the total carnage that awaited me. The halls and labs were in utter chaos of destruction, if the lights were still somehow working and attached to the ceiling they were dangling by a wire. There were dead bodies all over the hallways like something took a bite of each of them and just spat them back out for it wasn't what it was looking for. I was gasping as I saw body after body, blood pool after blood pool. Then I heard a familiar coughing sound, I turned the corner to see Jimmy still alive but barely, he had a big bite mark on his thigh but it was deep and bleeding bad.

   "Jimmy?! What happened here?!" I asked as tears ran down my face at the sight of him dying.

   "The… Suit… It got free and started killing people left and right looking for something. I think it was looking for you." He told me as he let out his last breath and died in my arms. Then I heard something fall to the ground behind me, it was the Suit it was moving on its own and coming for me. I ran as fast as I could to the parking garage so I could lost it with my car. But the Suit was adapting when I reached my car the engine was overflowing with the black gunk I so mistakenly created. So I just ran for the woods I ran through and passed trees with that black gunk not far behind me. When I looked back in fear I tripped on a tree root. I started to crawl backwards away from it as it crept closer and closer when I noticed it was going slow I tried to get up and run but it was too late a few seconds after I got to my feet the black gunk reached out and bound my feet together in its hold. I fell to the ground just to have it pull me into it. Within seconds of pointless fighting it I was consumed by my own creation.

   I tried to fight it but no matter what I did it expanded in tat direction until I felt it shoot itself into my blood veins as it started to shrink to form around my body. It kept shrinking until it was just as we wanted it to be a suit only at this point I was starting to suffocate. Just when I thought I was going to be choked to death by it my face finally popped out of the gunk just for me to see that my creation was now a part of my skin. No matter what I did I couldn't get the suit off I fought it for sometime then I felt the suit taking control over my body forcing on all fours. I felt my body changing from the inside out starting with my bones they all bent and snapped and mended to the shape of that of a wolves. I saw my hands and feet shrink and turn into paws right before my eyes. I then felt the suit extending my spine giving me a new wolf tail only this tail had a bit more reach than normal wolf tails it had the length and agility of that of a snake's or cat's tail. I lifted my head to scream in pain but all that came out was a howl as I saw two pieces of a mouth starting to close over my face. I closed my eyes to the fact of that this was really happening when I opened them I saw a new muzzle. A short distance to my left I saw a lake I walked over to look into the water when I looked in I saw I was now a grey she wolf.

   Just as I thought about how painful it was the pain shot back only this time it was in my fore shoulders. I let out a howl of pain as something sprouted from my shoulders and I noticed they were new appendages. When the pain ceased I looked back in the lake to see I had white feathered angel wings sprouting from my back behind my fore shoulders and I could move them with a thought.

   "What has happened to me?" I said out loud shocked at how I was still able to talk like I did before.

   "The Creation is now one with its Creator." said another wolf as he walked out of the shadows. "My name is Jake. Come with me I will explain on the way." He instructed. I followed him but not of curiosity but of free will I had nowhere else to go now. I thought as tears ran down my new grey fur and my new wings folded at my sides.
