Inner Dragon
It was in the dead of night when I was walking home from my karate tournament and finally made it to black belt when I realized something: I thought this would be my greatest day ever I worked so hard to get this but it was the exact opposite.
My name is Shing. I am a 17 year old boy. I was the shortest in my class I was the only 5 foot in the class. I was wearing my signature cap supporting my favorite NBA team the Bulls back when Michael Jordan was on the team. As well as my favorite jacket a classic blue jean one some might say but I had put my own design on the back the Chinese symbol for fire. I don't know why but I always loved the flame. As I was walking on my way home nothing special ever before. Emphasis on the before. I was walking through an almost abandoned part of the town a slum if you will. I had a feeling I was being watched. But didn't pay much attention to it.
"Man all that work for my goal and all the rip I took while trying to get it and I still not happy. I need some change. Where is my destiny!?" I said as I kicked the empty soup can so hard it crashed through a building window. As I did that I heard a guy's voice
"My, My what a fire. You will do just fine." the voice said.
"Huh? Who said that?!" I yelled in surprise.
"A friend." the voice said.
"A friend? I don't need you I got plenty of friends!" I told the voice
"Well, Who said anything about you needing me?" the voice said. As something hit me in the back of my head and knocking me out.
